Who is David?
Providing the Canadian flavour, David Paterson is currently living in Vancouver as an expat Kiwi, though he is set to return to Christchurch for a short-term stint as of February 2008. With a bachelor of viticulture and oenology from Lincoln University, David now bases himself out of Vancouver where he juggles work for a fine wine retailer and five star restaurants. An astute, highly intelligent and incredibly fast learner, David thrives on the challenges and responsibilities offered by commanding vintage roles; his latest accomplishment a 2007 vintage with the highly specialised and prestigious pinot noir producers of Oregon, Archery Summit. David continues to leverage off his NZ experience with such wineries as Camshorn, Giesen and Neudorf Vineyards, with plans to work in the Domaines of Burgundy before long.
